Ayesha Takia Azmi has worked as an actor in Hindi movies since 1986. Ayesha won Filmfare's Best Debut Award, in 2004, for her performance as a leading actress in Taarzan The Wonder Car. The film was her debut as an actor. Later appearances in the film include Paathshaala (2009) Wanted (2010) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007, 2008) as well as Socha Na Tha (2010).
